1. Information We Collect

We collect information in a few ways:

• Account information — email address, name, and authentication details when you sign up or sign in
• Content you provide — documents, prompts, uploads, and configuration (e.g. brand profiles, watchlists, connected-account settings) you enter into the Service
• Billing information — handled directly by our payment processor, Stripe; we receive subscription status and billing metadata, not your full card number
• Usage data — pages visited, features used, and general interaction data, collected via analytics tools only if you've opted in through our cookie preferences
• Connected third-party account data — if you connect a social media, advertising, brokerage, or other third-party account, we store the access credentials needed to act on your behalf and the data you choose to sync (e.g. account name, connection status)

2. How We Use Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, maintain, and improve the Service, including the AI agents and features you use
• Process payments and manage your subscription
• Communicate with you about your account, changes to the Service, or support requests
• Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues
• Comply with legal obligations

3. AI Processing and Third-Party Model Providers

To generate responses, the Service sends relevant portions of your content and prompts to third-party AI model providers (such as Anthropic, OpenAI, and Google) for processing. These providers process that data under their own terms and privacy commitments to us, and we do not permit them to use your content to train their models except where a provider's standard API terms say otherwise and you've been separately notified. We select model providers with an eye toward data-handling practices appropriate for a paid product.

5. How We Share Information

We don't sell your personal information. We share it only with:

• Service providers who help us operate the Service (payment processing, hosting, email delivery, customer support, analytics — only once you've opted in)
• Third-party AI model providers, as described above
• Third-party platforms you explicitly connect (e.g. a social account or brokerage), and only for the actions you authorize
• Law enforcement or regulators, when required by law or to protect our rights and users' safety
• A successor entity, in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets

6. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time (see Section 8).

7. Data Security

We use industry-standard safeguards — including encryption in transit and at rest for sensitive fields such as connected-account credentials — to protect your information. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security, but we work to keep your data protected and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

8. Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal information, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage most of this directly in your account settings, or contact us at team@clearception.io to make a request. We'll respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

10. International Data Transfers

We are based in the United States, and information we collect may be transferred to and processed in the United States or other countries where our service providers operate, which may have different data protection laws than your own jurisdiction.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll notify you by email or through the Service before they take effect.
